Module I – basic training for educational program “Enterprising school”

(3 academic hours)

TARGET GROUP: teachers of pre-school child care institutions, schools of general education and vocational schools, heads of educational institutions, members of board of trustees, members of student self-governments, support staff of educational institutions, parents, local government workers

OBJECTIVE: Those who complete the module will understand why is enterprising necessary and how to systematically develop it in educational institutions by using the “Enterprising school” educational program

…understand, why enterprising is necessary for persons, institutions and community;
… is aware of the stakeholders’ problems and knows how to solve them;

… know the stages from the first steps to the establishment of a sustainable “Enterprising school”;

*The history of educational program “Enterprising school”.
*Problems of stakeholders and solving them by using enterprising school.
*Mapping of enterprising person.
*Practical examples.
*The basics of systematic implementation of “Enterprising school” educational program.

Module II – Training for implementation of enterprising learning

(8 academic hours)

TARGET GROUP: teachers and teacher’s aides of pre-school child care institutions, teachers of schools of general education and vocational schools, heads of educational institutions

OBJECTIVE: Those who complete the module can integrate enterprising learning into their classes

STUDY RESULTS:

Those who complete module II…
…can analyze the objectives of learning in the context of both their classes and the educational institution;
…can make learning more learner-centred;
… know what is the tool of enterprising learning, TULEM, and knows how to employ it;
… know how to connect the topics of the curriculum with real life;
… know how to integrate subjects with each other;
… know how to establish successful cooperation with non-school partners;
… know how to give and analyze feedback;

Module III – Training for the Standard of enterprising learning

(6 academic hours)

TARGET GROUP: teachers and teacher’s aides of pre-school child care institutions, teachers of schools of general education and vocational schools, heads of educational institutions

OBJECTIVE: Those who complete the module will clearly understand the logic behind the enterprising learning Standard and its opportunities and knows how to use the Standard as a tool for internal evaluation and development

STUDY RESULTS:

Those who complete module III will…
….understand the Standard’s logic;
… know how to assess the compliance of the Standard’s domains to the principles of enterprising learning;
… know how to identify the strengths and weaknesses of educational institution and take action to remediate the weaknesses;
… know how to fill the self-evaluation table according to the Standard’s factor descriptions;
… know how to engage an adviser;                                                                                                     …know how to use the Standard as a development tool;
… know when to involve an external assessor;
